time being at FB

The debut release from Time Being now has an official release date!

According to Ben Cox at Lotuspike, the release is scheduled for April 12, 2011.

Jourdan and Phillip also reviewed the onesheet being prepared by Lotuspike to announce and publicize the release. It features Jourdan’s beautiful photography and describes the themes of the Time Being music and sound.

Daniel Pipitone of Lotuspike sent Jourdan and Phillip a note on FB yesterday saying that the CDs had arrived from the factory: “They look and sound really nice. Congratulations on a fine release. Can’t wait to unleash these…”

Artwork & Mastering Underway

Jourdan and I have started discussing the artwork / photography for our first release with the folks at Lotuspike.

I also understand that the mastering (by Ben Cox) is about to get underway as well.

The release will include 8 tracks.

Jourdan Laik and Phillip Wilkerson have combined their talents to create an ambient music collaboration known as Time Being.

The musical goal of Time Being is to create soothing and reflective ambient music suitable for relaxing, dreaming, meditating, and destressing–in short, music for humans being in the present moment of time.

Our first release is scheduled for the spring of 2011 on the Lotuspike / Spotted Peccary ambient music label.
